OUR TEAM

William Upshaw

Director of Athletic Services

William (Will) Upshaw co-founded Formula Elite Academy and Faith Effort ActionWilliam’s passion for inspiring, teaching, and witnessing growth and success in each of his players has been the essential ingredient to the Formula in Formula Elite Academy. Born and raised in Texas, William played basketball in high school and at North Richland Community College. In 2014, after years of successfully pursuing his passion for songwriting, he was offered an opportunity to coach youth basketball. Here, he realized his gift of motivating and helping young men with not only their basketball skills but their confidence and potential. His passion and love for God and his family are what drives him to remain steadfast in his pursuit to pour into our youth so that they can be successful in all areas of their life. William W. Upshaw is married to his muse and business partner, Jayme. They have four sons. He enjoys playing basketball in his free time and spending time with his family.

Jayme Upshaw

Director of Operations

Jayme Upshaw co-founded Formula Elite Academy and Faith Effort Action, Inc. Jayme’s vision for FEA developed from a desire to feel and receive more from her children’s youth sports experience. Her first profession as a registered nurse has provided a foundation for the model she created for Faith Effort Action, a model of expectancy for excellence, compassion, faith, dedication, effort, and a strong work ethic. Her drive and passion for caring for the whole student-athlete are at the heart of every aspect of the FEA model. Born and raised in Maryland, Jayme played volleyball, basketball, and track and field in high school. She graduated with a BS in Nursing from Towson University and continues to work as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She is the proud wife and business partner to the love of her life, William. They have four amazing young men and a fur child, Kobe.
